When the bum marketing method was released, a lot of people started to market their websites and products with articles. For some this was a gold rush and some aggressive and action taking marketers wrote and submitted as many as ten articles every day. Of course they were seeing results that motivated them to continue writing articles at that rate.

But the results that they were getting could have been much better if they did something in addition to submitting their articles. I believe submitting articles after articles is like shooting in the dark. Each article is your salesman, if you just submit articles and don’t watch and try to improve their performance; it is like having a team of salesmen who do not have to report. Isn’t it much better to watch which of your salesmen is doing a better job, finding out how and what he does, and informing every other salesman that this is what you have to do to get results like him?

It is the same with articles. You have to monitor which article is generating more attention, more clicks and more sales. Fortunately for you, I have done most of the monitoring and research. Yes, that’s right. You can increase the effectiveness of each and every article, by marketing your articles after they have been approved and published. But, the marketing doesn’t have to be long backlinking campaign. No, all you have to do is spend around an hour in the beginning for each niche and then ten minutes afterwards for each article published. You will be amazed that even low performing articles will suddenly start to generate a lot of page views, clicks and sales.

It is a slow process to begin with but once you gain mementum it gets easier and there are quite a few tools that make your job easier. A few of these are free and others cost varying amounts, but until you have made some money you can do with the free ones.
